The short version: your time stays on your PCs. We don’t run servers that hold your hours and we never sell anything about you.
The app
Your time and projects are kept on your PC. If you share between your PCs the app copies its changes through a folder you pick like OneDrive or Google Drive. That folder belongs to you and your sync service. We never see it.
Your license is checked with Lemon Squeezy when you activate it and about once a month after that. The check sends your license key and an ID for that PC. It also sends the PC’s name so you can tell your PCs apart on your license. Nothing about your time is sent.
Things you point it at:
- If you add a calendar link the app reads your calendar from that address.
- If you add a holiday page it reads that page.
- If you use the optional browser helper it fills timesheet pages in your own browser on your PC.
Problem reports only happen when you ask for one. The app puts the report together on your PC and you decide whether to send it.
The app has no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
Buying
Lemon Squeezy handles your purchase as our merchant of record. They collect your name, email and payment details to process the order and send your license key. They share your name and email with us so we can help you if something goes wrong. See Lemon Squeezy’s privacy policy.
This website
This website has no cookies and no analytics. Our hosting company keeps standard server logs like IP addresses and the pages visited. Those are used for security and to keep the site running.
If you email us we only use your message and address to reply and help you.
Your choices
You can delete the app’s data at any time by uninstalling it and removing its folder. To ask about anything we have on file like your purchase details, email support@taskbartimesheet.com.
Changes
If this policy changes we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
